Zorbing in the dunes of Huacachina
Roll, bounce and laugh inside a giant inflatable ball.
You climb inside a giant ball and head down the dune rolling, bouncing and spinning. Nothing to learn and nothing to drive: just let go and try to stop laughing.

What zorbing is
A giant ball, a dune and gravity
It is one of the most fun and unusual things you can do in Huacachina. You settle inside a giant inflatable ball and roll down dunes chosen specially for it.
Whether you come with friends, family or as a couple, it is a way of experiencing the desert that is like nothing else. And it needs no special fitness and no previous experience.

Activity information
Before you get in
This stays outside the ball
Anything hard or pointed can tear the ball — and it goes round and round inside with you. This is not a suggestion: it is the condition for getting in.
Everything loose stays outside, somewhere safe, while you are in the ball.
Who should not take part
With any of these, we would rather you sat it out
The ball spins and bounces. It is hugely fun, but there are cases where it is not worth the risk:
- Back, neck or joint problems that rolling or bouncing could make worse
- Pregnancy: you cannot take part
- Any other physical condition that movement could aggravate
- Children must meet the minimum age and size, and be accompanied by an adult where required
If you have any medical condition or physical limitation, check with your doctor before taking part. And tell us before the activity, not after.
Before you start
How the session works
Our staff explain the activity and the safety procedures before you get into the ball.
That is the moment to tell us about any health concern or physical limitation. We would much rather know beforehand: there is always a way to adapt the activity, or for the rest of your group to go while you watch.
After that, all that is left is to roll.
What to bring
- Comfortable clothes
- Water
- Sunscreen
- A towel, if you like
- Your best sense of adventure
Important: arrive on time and remove all prohibited items before getting into the ball. It is what delays departures most.
